Rock Island Lake Fishing Camp - Accommodations
For your comfort we have six cozy log cabins at Rock Island Lake Fishing Camp. All
are fully equipped for housekeeping with propane cook tops, wood heaters, bedding,
towels, cooking and eating utensils and cold running water. Firewood and kindling
are at your door. There is an ample supply of ice for your portable coolers. Showers,
flush toilets and plenty of hot water are all centrally located. Outdoor biffies are
also available. Electricity is generated during the evening hours and oil lamps are
provided in each cabin as well.
Rock Island Lake Fishing Camp - Home Cooked Meals
Although the staff all call me the "bush boss", the real "boss" runs the lodge.
With the meals Jeannie and her crew put out (Kristy, Becky, Nicole, Thalia)
it's a wonder I'm not 400lbs. Jeannie has several different menus, and special
diets can be accommodated if notified in advance. You can enjoy hearty home
cooked meals in the lodge or do your own cooking in the cabin.
The staff at
Rock Island Lake Fishing Camp will gladly clean your fish, ice or smoke them
if you wish (smoked trout from Rock Island is a delicious treat).
